This unique event combines golf and dentistry for a day packed with learning, networking and fun!
The morning will focus on treatment planning considerations in implant dentistry, followed by lunch and an afternoon round of golf at the venue chosen.
The event is open to individual players, both male and female. The maximum handicap is 24 for men and 28 for women.
Learning Objectives
Protocols for Immediate and Delayed Implant Placement
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Indications and contraindications for straightforward single-tooth implants
- Surgical protocols, including atraumatic extraction and immediate versus delayed placement
- Restorative considerations and common pitfalls
- Clinical case examples and discussion
Learning Outcome: Enhanced understanding of how to identify suitable cases and apply evidence-based approaches to immediate and delayed implant placement.
Intermediate Implant Cases – Managing Complexity
- Multiple implants in partially edentulous patients
- Management of posterior regions with limited bone height and width
- Advances in guided bone regeneration and soft tissue management techniques
- Complications and risk management strategies
Interactive Element: Small-group discussion of case scenarios.

You will gain 3 hours of verifiable CPD and receive a certificate of attendance at the event.

Dr. Rishi Patel
BDS MFDSRCS Eng) MS (Loma Linda, California)
Dr Rishi D Patel graduated from the University of Bristol Dental School in 2002. Following a year in general practice, he completed Senior House Officer posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative dentistry and completed the MFDS examination for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He undertook his 3-year fulltime graduate and Master of Science Prosthodontic training at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. He then went on to complete a one year Surgical Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda. Dr Patel is recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Prosthodontics and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
He is the Principal Dental Surgeon at 33, Beaumont Street Dental Practice. A multi-speciality referral centre and private dental practice. His practice is focused on implant, aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
