A hands-on surgical training experience designed to build confidence, refine technique and accelerate clinical success.
This intensive program is designed for clinicians who want to gain practical, hands-on experience in the surgical placement of dental implants. Participants will have the unique opportunity to place multiple implants on cadaver specimens in a clinically supported environment, ensuring real-world learning in a safe and structured setting.

A/Prof Anthony Lynham
A/Prof Anthony Lynham is a specialist maxillofacial surgeon with extensive clinical, academic and leadership experience. He completed his surgical training in Queensland, followed by a Fellowship in Switzerland, where he advanced his expertise in complex maxillofacial procedures.
His practice spans dento-alveolar surgery, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and oro-facial pathology. In addition to practicing privately at Proactive Dental Solutions and Queensland Maxillofacial Group, he serves as Clinical Director at the Jamieson Trauma Institute, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
A/Prof Lynham also holds academic appointments as Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and Adjunct Professor at the Queensland University of Technology. He contributes to the advancement of surgical science as a member of the Advisory Board for the ARC Training Centre for Cell and Tissue Engineering Technologies.
Dr. Gregory J Peek
Dr Peek completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Sydney, Australia in 1985. Following Graduation, he served as a Dental Officer with the Australian Defence Forces before completing a Master of Dental Science (OMS) at the University of Queensland and the specialty stream exit examination of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr Peek then worked as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Australian Naval Hospital and the Manly District Hospital in Sydney before joining Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital and Ipswich General Hospital. Dr Peek moved to full time private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, most recently working in a multidisciplinary specialist practice.
On retiring from practice, Dr Peek recommenced his involvement in dental education at the University of Queensland Dental School before accepting a position at the University of Aberdeen as a Clinical Lecturer where he is currently the Senior Clinical Lecturer.


Dr. Casey Walsh
After completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in 2013, followed by a Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology in 2017, Dr Walsh spent eight years in general practice before undertaking specialist training at the University of Queensland. In 2024, he was awarded a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics).
He now maintains a private practice in Brisbane, with additional clinics on the Sunshine Coast and in Townsville. His clinical expertise focuses on the restoration of dental implants, full-arch fixed and removable implant restorations, and the management of complex implant complications.
As a registered specialist in Prosthodontics with AHPRA, Dr Walsh is actively involved in the professional community. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontics, the Australian Prosthodontic Society, and currently serves as Federal Secretary for the Australian Osseointegration Society.
Beyond his clinical commitments, Dr Walsh is passionate about education and mentorship. He regularly presents at Study Clubs across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and holds a clinical supervision appointment in advanced prosthodontics for undergraduate students at the University of Queensland.
