Course Objectives

Neogen® Ti-Reinforced PTFE membranes – How & why does it work, what are the principles of success.
  • to understand the fundamental mechanisms of Neogen® and the factors that lead to successful outcomes.

Master the clinical protocol of ridge augmentation and large bone defects using Neogen® Ti-Reinforced PTFE membranes

  • This objective focuses on thoroughly learning and mastering the standard procedures and protocols involved in performing GBR.

Hands-on using pigs jaws: you will place 2 x Neogen® Ti-Reinforced PTFE membranes in 2 separate sites

  • one site will be simultaneous implant placement and graft.   

Suturing – Technique

  • This objective emphasizes learning the proper suturing techniques essential for Neogen® Ti-Reinforced PTFE membranes to support the healing process and improve outcomes.

Pitfalls in Neogen® Ti-Reinforced PTFE membranes– Avoid common errors.

  • This objective is about recognizing and avoiding common mistakes or challenges associated with NeoGen and learn what to do when things don’t go to plan.

Dr Tony Strangio BDSc, MSc, FICOI, MRACDS (PDS)

Dr. Tony Strangio, with a Master’s in Oral Implantology, has been involved in implant dentistry since 1996. He co-owns Joondalup City Dental and Candlewood Dental Centre. His focus on oral and implant surgery includes lecturing and leading a study club. Dr. Tony is also President of the WA branch of the Australasian Osseointegration Society. His research interests include immediate implantology and simplifying implant techniques. Additionally, he has contributed to several pre-launch clinical trials and the development of angulated implantology.
