'Surgical and Prosthetic Protocols for Full-Arch Rehabilitation'
With the success of this course, we're doing it again! This unique event combines golf and dentistry for a day jam packed full of learning and fun. The day will cover surgical and prosthetic protocols for full-arch rehabilitation.
After the morning lectures you will have lunch followed by a round of golf on one of Oxfordshire’s finest golf courses located 20 minutes from the city centre in the countryside.
The day is open to individual players, male and female - Places are limited!
Please bring your own golf clubs and equipment on the day. The dress code is golf attire.
Learning Objectives:
Patient assessment and prosthetic protocols: The presentation will cover the clinical stages for the predictable full-arch restoration of the patients. There will be a comprehensive outline of patient assessment, treatment planning, conventional impression taking verification stages, occlusal records, transfer of provisional restorations and fabrication and placement protocols for full-arch restorations. There will be an explanation for the laboratory and clinical stages for CAD/CAM generated frameworks and assessing passivity of fit to ensure optimal long-term outcomes.
Surgical Considerations: This case based presentation with outline the surgical management for the maxilla for full arch implant reconstruction. There will be a detailed recap of anatomical factors, management of bony defects and use of angled implants. Delegates will understand the basic steps in clinical assessment, stages of surgical and prosthetic management for full arch restorations.

Dr Rishi D Patel graduated from the University of Bristol Dental School in 2002. Following a year in general practice, he completed Senior House Officer posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative dentistry and completed the MFDS examination for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He undertook his 3-year fulltime graduate and Master of Science Prosthodontic training at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. He then went on to complete a one year Surgical Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda. Dr Patel is recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Prosthodontics and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
He is the Principal Dental Surgeon at 33, Beaumont Street Dental Practice. A multi-speciality referral centre and private dental practice. His practice is focused on implant, aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
