Jakob Zwaan graduated in dentistry from Utrecht University (NL) in 1987. At the end of that year he moved to Italy and after a series of collaborations decided to start his own business. After making sure he has solid surgical experience, he approaches implantology and periodontal surgery. Since then, despite the now vast number of cases in the field, he continues his updating, following some of the most illustrious masters in the world. In recent years his emphasis has been on "immediate loading" techniques, virtual diagnosis and planning with CT processing software and periodontal plastic surgery. He personally takes care of the prosthetic finalization, offering in addition to traditional techniques CAD-CAM methods and the use of new generation materials such as zirkonium and all-ceramic.
